Scope: The Ballston Business Improvent District (BID) was looking for a fresh approach to their annual Taste of Arlington event. In the past, they created highlight videos with no solid strategy.
After a 90-minute strategy session, we determined that the best approach was to highlight the event’s beneficiaries and tell their story of how proceeds from the event help their non-profits.
I handled scheduling logistics and script creation. Another shooter and I filmed on two separate occasions.
1. Sit-down interviews in a controlled environment utilizing a skilled gaffer to light the set
2. Event coverage to pickup b-roll based on a predetermined shotlist and script
I handled all postproduction on the project including music licensing, lower third creation, basic color correction, client review and revisions.
