Project Summary:#AlexWorks is an Employee Profile Series I launched to help the city humanize itself, build internal morale, and recruit prospective employees.
Ashley's story is very unique.
She's passionate about her work and is a talented athlete. I held a discovery meeting with City staff to discuss how we could leverage her story. At this meeting we discussed key messaging, target audience and distribution methods.
I pre-interviewed Ashley via phone to learn more about her and quickly realized we needed to tell her story.
I scheduled multiple filming days to capture her at the fire station and playing professional women's football. I traveled to one of her football games to film her in action.
The final video was distributed on the City's YouTube channel, public cable television channel, Facebook and Twitter.
